Loz first fell in love with osteopathy when she was receiving treatment for an old snowboarding injury. The holistic nature of the treatment resonated with Loz and she was instantly hooked. This new found love lead Loz to complete a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters of Health Science in Osteopathy at Victoria University.
Loz is a firm believer that knowledge is power. In her treatments it is common for Loz to spend time focussing on education so that you are fully aware of what is causing your complaint and how, as a team, we will get you achieving and exceeding your goals. Loz has a particular interest in treating women through all stages of life Including pregnancy and postpartum. She especially enjoys being able to empower pregnant women and new mums with knowledge and support as they navigate their new, exciting lives.
Since graduating, Loz has gone on to complete further study in dry-needling, shockwave therapy, pregnancy, breastfeeding conditions, osteopathy for newborn babies and extensive study in treating women’s pelvic health conditions including internal examinations and treatment.
While studying, Loz worked as a Pilates instructor at multiple studios across the bayside area. This experience allowed her to further develop an understanding of how important movement is for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It also permitted Loz to develop her rehabilitation and exercise prescription skills allowing her to identify appropriate exercises and modifications for each individual patient/client.
When not in the clinic you will find Loz spending time with her family, going to Pilates, walking her bulldog, Kate or participating in any and all water sports.
